Discover the Home Remedies of Vomiting
Vomiting or vemesis is a biological defense mechanism. It is a reflex activity, which refers to the forceful oral expulsion of stomach contents. The actual function of vomiting is to remove toxic or harmful substances from the body after ingestion. However, vomiting is multifactorial in origin and can be caused due to various reasons. Retching is the sustained contraction of the chest and abdominal muscles that accompanies before or during vomiting.
Home Remedies of Vomiting
There are several home remedies for vomiting when you are already ill. Some of the common home remedies for vomiting are quite simple. By drinking a flat can of room temperature cola you can settle your stomach. To quickly make the cola flat pour it into a glass and stir, this will take most of the carbonation out. Lime juice is also one of the most effect home remedies for vomiting. Drink a glass of chilled lime juice slowly and this will help your stomach to prevent more vomiting.
Take 2 cardamoms and roast them on a dry pan (tava). Powder the cardamoms and thereafter add a tsp of honey in it. Consume it frequently. It serves as a fabulous home remedy for vomiting.
In the mixture of 1 tsp of mint juice and 1 tsp limejuice, add ½ tsp of ginger juice and 1 tsp honey. Drink this mixture to prevent vomiting.
Limejuice is an effective remedy for vomiting. Take a glass of chilled limejuice and sip slowly.
Mix 3tbsp of Lemon Juice with 1 Tbsp Of Ginger juice(juice from fresh grated ginger) and have.
Ginger Tea is really effective, its one of my favorite remedies. It works well for me.

Dietary precaution after vomiting
Your vomiting will end sooner or later. An important thing is how to prevent the recurrence of the vomiting. Here also comes the knowledge of home remedies.
Immediately after the vomiting session, please try little quantity of carbohydrate rich food especially “Jell-O”. This is rich in carbohydrate and also available in liquid form.
Carbohydrate intake should be followed with protein rich food—fish or chicken breast (light protein). But you should avoid fat rich food at least for fifteen days because fat will stay a long period in the stomach which may lead to bloating of your stomach
